Lisa Thornton is a contemporary jeweller based in Manchester. She graduated from Staffordshire University in 2005 with a First Class BA Honours in Design: Crafts.
Lisa is influenced by Industrial Structures and movement in which the wearer or viewer is encouraged to interact. With the combination of silver and polyester resin, kinetic qualities employ this unique relationship to the body. Handmade clasps and fittings become integral features in the design of each piece.
The distinct rolling motion of the ‘Spinning Collection’ gives the jewellery additional wear ability as the discs held within the ring role over the knuckles. These qualities have further evolved into a men's range of cufflinks and tie pins.
All of Lisa’s jewellery can be customised to suit your individual requirements.
